story

This collaboration with freshly returned U.S. Marine veteran Robert Spangle began as a pipe dream over coffee. It evolved into the initial co-creation of Thousand Yard Style, a fresh perspective on menswear and street style. After returning from active duty, Spangle sought to find products that infused the utility, quality, and versatility of his military gear into the everyday staples of men’s attire. I developed the initial branding, website, photography, and collaborated on the editing and publication of new product features.

Since its launch in 2012, Robert has become a menswear designer and renowned street-style photographer covering fashion weeks in Paris, Milan, New York, and London. His work has been featured in British GQ, The Rake, Monrowe Magazine, Vogue Online, Style.com, Esquire Hong Kong, and more.
