“I am always doing that which I cannot do, in order that I may learn how to do it.”
Awkward bio in the 3rd person
Bri Hughes is a creator from Los Angeles who currently resides in San Francisco, California. In 2015, she graduated from University of Oregon with a BA in English Literature and French — while working part-time in graphic design. She began designing in high school after an elective photoshop class, and has interwoven the disciplines of graphic design and human-centered thinking ever since. She cut her teeth in product design at Nike, working on the Nike Training Club app, and has spent the last four years designing at Calm.
Self-taught in product design, animation, graphic design, photography, video editing, prototyping, user research, design system wrangling, and more through experiences at Nike and Calm, she brings a dynamic foundation to design.
A voracious collector of hobbies and experiences, she is also a 200-hour certified yoga instructor, ceramicist, photographer, writer, hiker, cat mom, and bubble lover.
